Hall Woods and Tall Timbers Trail(Fortune woods) are great places to hike. If you're not a local, you probably don't know about these trails. The Tall Timbers portion was slated to be a reservoir in the 60's but conservationists saved the area. I'm so glad they did. Standing on top of the ridge looking down at the Big Walnut Creek, I can see how a reservoir could have been there but at the cost of covering up so much beauty. Both trails are beautiful with spring flowers but Hall Woods has tons of Virginia Blue Bells.

Great place to take the family.

Very well kept and a smooth trail to walk. Not hard at all, so all levels can complete it. Very reclusive and a bit out of the way but I felt that only made it even more intriguing.

Delightful old growth forest
